Mohammad Shaaban has been a practicing attorney since 2010 – a member of Kuwait’s Bar Association licensed to appear before the Cassation and Constitutional courts of Kuwait. A talented litigant and legal executive, Shaaban worked with three esteemed local practices before joining Meysan; his former position being the executive manager of a law firm.
A graduate of Cairo University, Shaaban is well-versed in the origins of Kuwaiti jurisprudence – especially in complex procedural matters. Having represented many high-profile clients, Shaaban excels in his appearance before the courts, ably arguing for his clients at the final junctures of his cases.
Shaaban’s concentration lies in white-collar criminal defense and criminal corporate litigation. He represented Members of Parliament, politicians, and prominent businesspersons in matters pertaining to state security, civil liberties and commercial crimes. Shaaban also handled the dissolution of the board of directors of a major cooperative society in Kuwait.
Beyond his legal career, Shaaban is a businessman and a former banker with practical experience in the day-to-day workings and minute details of establishing and winding up companies of different structures, with a vast network across Kuwait’s corporate and banking communities.
