Mourad Haggag is a Partner and head of Egypt Litigation. He is a seasoned court litigator before Egyptian ordinary, economic, and Conseil d’Etat (administrative) courts with extensive experience spanning 25 years in civil commercial, administrative, competition, tax, customs, labor, telecommunications, and intellectual property litigation, as well as criminal and white-collar defense work and arbitration. Mourad also represents clients before the prosecution, experts of the Egyptian Ministry of Justice, ministerial committees on the settlement of investment disputes, public funds authorities, the real estate authentication office, tax committees, and specialized agencies such as the Competition Authority and Consumer Protection Agency. His work in arbitration includes acting as arbitrator and counsel in disputes, as well as in enforcement and annulment proceedings before relevant courts.
