Meysan acted as counsel to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and Kuwait Oil Company on Project Peregrine, a US$16 billion strategic infrastructure investment with a global consortium led by Blackstone, Brookfield and KKR, and the largest foreign direct investment in Kuwait’s history.

The transaction establishes a new Kuwaiti joint venture to manage the commercial rights to Kuwait’s domestic and export crude oil pipeline network, with KOC holding a 51% majority stake and continuing to own, operate and maintain the network. It is expected to generate US$7.85 billion in upfront proceeds to support KPC’s strategic investments, including its goal of reaching 4 million barrels per day of production capacity by 2035.
